Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. This was some time ago, and we have placed a script which would automatically send you to our new location. Obviously, this hasn't worked for all of you, since we have just finished moderating some of your comments which appeared on this site recently, and not on our new (and improved!) site. So what we're saying is head on over to our new site, and update your bookmarks!

Rooftop Concert Confirmed

The 40th anniversary rooftop concert we talked about in an earlier post has now been confirmed. The Bootleg Beatles are recreating the famous "last Beatles concert" from January 30th, 1969 on the place where it happened. The concert will commence at 12 noon and last until 2 p.m. The Bootlegs also appeared on the same location in 1999 for the 30th anniversary. Those in the London area now have an opportunity to experience what it was like to stand in the street below and hear The Beatles without seeing them...
The 40th anniversary concert is organized by the Daily Express newspaper and OK Magazine, who will both cover the concert.

UPDATE JAN. 19-2009: The concert was eventually cancelled
